We Don't Like Perfect People

I am a nineteen-year-old college student in Greenville, SC.  I’ve transferred twice, because I ultimately could not resist the allure of my hometown, even though I grew up here and should by rights be TERRIBLY bored with it by now.

I lie awake at night dreaming of being a writer.

Likes:  air conditioning, Roger Ebert, my hair, Tudor England, cats, cooking, Susan Orlean, fashion, literary fiction, National Geographic, decidedly non-literary fiction, British culture, golden retrievers, Krispy Kreme.

Dislikes:  team sports, moldy washing machines, Sperry Topsiders worn as dress shoes, the Religious Right, miniature schnauzers, midsummer port-a-potties, UV rays, cucumbers.

Yes, I am the pink gorilla.  The pink gorilla is me.
